A BUSINESS ENGAGEMENT EVENT FUNDED BY THE ESRC, i10 AND THE OPEN UNIVERSITY.

Organisations and managers live in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world which constantly poses new challenges.

  • How do managers handle change and uncertainty and create a sustainable future for their organisation?
  • How do they engage with all the skills and experience of all their employees to the benefit of their organisation?
  • How do they introduce much needed changes and simplify complex situations?

A one day event at the Open University in Milton Keynes will help you answer these and many other questions related to complexity and change.

The event will offer:

  • The latest research on complexity and change from a world class University.
  • Case studies from public and private sector speakers: Flight Directors, GlaxoSmithKline, DNA Wales and the Open University.
  • Opportunities for discussion and networking.
  • The chance to develop new insights and valuable new skills.
  • A presentation on funding opportunities to help your organisation access university expertise for business success.

The event will commence at 9.15 - 9.45 with refreshments and will finish at 5.00. A buffet lunch will be provided.

This event is FREE thanks to a Business Engagement Award.

If you would like to reserve a place please email Jenny Wright at j.m.wright@open.ac.uk with your name, email address and organisation address. A programme and location details will then be emailed out to you 5 - 8 days before the workshop.
